This project examines gender in Iranian mythical creatures by exploring ancient tales rooted in Pre-Zoroastrian traditions. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAmong the most feared supernatural beings are the Divs - monstrous figures of darkness and disorder. Their gender is ambiguous, yet many narratives depict female Divs as figures of disruption, unsettling identity, form, and structure. One such figure is Booshasb, a female Div of laziness and procrastination.
