Presented by Brookfield Properties and Collect, and created in partnership with the Crafts Council, the Brookfield Properties Craft Award 2026 recognises UK-based artists shaping the story of contemporary craft.

For it's seventh iteration, Darcey Fleming is recognised for an expansive practice spanning sculpture, performance, photography and wearable works, and for her inventive transformation of humble materials.

Darcey Fleming's first solo presentation, (Extra)ordinary, will open at Brookfield Properties’ 99 Bishopsgate on 30 March, featuring vibrant wall-hung woven sculptures created from discarded baling twine reworked through her distinctive process.

Untitled (Orange Chair) and Untitled (Wall Sculptures) were exhibited with House of Bandits at Collect - the leading international fair for contemporary craft and design located at Somerset House, London.
