We’re proud to share that Darcey Fleming has been commissioned by Givenchy for a series of works now installed across stores globally - including London, Paris, New York, Miami, Dubai, Las Vegas, and across China in Hong Kong, Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Shenzhen.

Working with discarded baling twine - a material both functional and overlooked - Fleming transforms found fragments into intricate, tactile structures. Developed through a self-taught weaving process, her practice is shaped by repetition, intensity and an instinctive dialogue with the material itself.
Bound by its own limitations, the work evolves through what is available - colour, texture and scale dictated not by control, but by circumstance. As Fleming describes it, this becomes a “built-in limitation”, one that defines both the process and the outcome.

Originally encountered in quiet, solitary landscapes, these works now exist in a new setting - yet retain their intensity, presence and sense of tension.
More works by Fleming are available for purchase through House of Bandits.
