BUT THAT’S NOT ALL…
Throughout the two weeks, Sarabande artists will take up residence, working in situ and inviting you into their creative process — meet the artists, discover their practice and watch their work take shape.
ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — ANTONIA CAICEDO HOLGUÍN
Her practice centers emotional experience, using colour, composition, and spatial tension to explore proximity, distance, and relational memory. Her work investigates how personal and cultural histories shape spaces and relationships.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — ELLA LYNCH
Ella Lynch is an artist working primarily in sculpture and 3D forms. Her work examines Britishness, nostalgia, sexiness, and the playful side of glamour, often with humour and tongue-in-cheek references.
ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — RIZZA ZAHID
Rizza’s work explores human relationships through detailed mark-making and psychologically charged imagery, informed by South Asian heritage, working-class British life, and street and punk aesthetics.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — SIPHIWE NOKUKHANYA MNGUNI
A British–Zimbabwean artist and curator exploring the Black female figure through identity, womanhood, community and perception. Using abstract figuration, she celebrates diverse figures and reimagines their place within contemporary culture.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — BANITA MISTRY
Banita Mistry is a painter and sculptor. Her practice uses materials and techniques, often associated with adornment, to explore individual and shared experiences of virtual technologies.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — JANE PRESTON
A British ceramic artist creating sculptures inspired by nature’s shapes, balance, and metaphors. Her work explores communication through form, responding to the pleasure and pain of lived experience.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — DARCEY FLEMING
Darcey Fleming is an artist who works across sculpture, photography, video, and performance. The body is usually either present or implied in the work. Traditional techniques and the use of discarded and humble materials are central to her practice.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE — JACK LAVER
A multimedia artist and musician. His works explore dependency and dissonance through material interactions. Vast surfaces echo action painting and aerial photography while maintaining a fluid, sculptural quality.
