Handcrafted in 9ct yellow gold, the piece features reclaimed Jacarandá wood, a rare and culturally significant Brazilian material sourced from salvaged furniture. A Brazilian emerald emerges from within the sculptural form, creating a vivid contrast between the deep tones of the wood and the stone’s saturated green.
Gold elements wrap around the piece in continuous lines, generating a sense of tension and containment, a recurring gesture in Helena’s work that speaks to preservation, attachment, and adornment.
