Handcrafted in 9ct yellow gold, the piece features reclaimed jacarandá wood, a rare and culturally significant Brazilian material sourced from salvaged furniture. Two Brazilian emeralds are set into the form, adding depth and contrast while reinforcing its connection to place.
Gold elements wrap and press into the wood, creating a sense of controlled compression, a signature gesture in Helena’s work that subtly echoes the relationship between body, object, and adornment.
