Oliver’s prints excavate medieval imagery, drawing its forms and symbols into contemporary tension. Working in etching, he builds layered scenes where ancient and modern anxieties converge. The grotesque, historically a space where fear and laughter, the sacred and the profane existed in uneasy balance, provides the visual language.
