Shan is a digital artist and filmmaker whose work moves between fiction and reality. Her practice is influenced by animation, fashion and film. She has developed a distinctive approach to storytelling, using a nonlinear logic of memory to weave personal memories and memories of her time into her stories.
A Little Girl is a still from her hand-drawn animation, inspired by her early obsession with animation and exploring the idea of digital identity and the existence of a virtual character.
