The Calends are a series of 12 heads cast in sugar evoking the changing seasons. A Calend marks the beginning of each month acting as a countdown to the next. Some of the Calends reveal glassy masks visible in certain lights and angles whilst others have painted faces in foliage. The Calends ask how we orientate ourselves within perceived time.
